6.1
GENERAL
6. ASIAN HANDICAP

6.1.1

This is a market where a handicap is applied to the match in order to make the prices closer to Even Money.

6.1.2

The match favourite will be allocated a negative handicap represented with a (-) symbol and will have to win by more goals than the handicap in order to be a winner. The match outsider will be allocated a positive handicap which will be added to the final score. The handicap will be added to one side only. Half-time Asian handicap markets will be settled on the half-time result.

6.1.3

There are three types of Asian Handicap.

6.2 WHOLE BALL HANDICAP (e.g. (0), (-1), (-2))

6.2.1

The handicap is applied to the final result of the match and the team with the most goals after the handicap has been applied will be the winner.

6.2.2

If the number of goals for each team is level after the handicap has been applied, it will result in a push with the stake being returned.

6.2.3

For example: Spain (-2), Paraguay (+2). If Spain wins by three or more goals then all bets on Spain will be winners and bets on Paraguay will be losers. If Spain win by exactly two goals then all bets on the market will be pushed and the bet stake returned on both sides. f Spain win by exactly one goal, the match ends in a draw or Paraguay win the match then all bets on Paraguay will be winners and bets on Spain will be losers. The handicap (0) is the equivalent of the draw no bet market. If Spain wins the game then all bets on Spain will be winners and all bets on Paraguay will be losers. If Paraguay wins the game then all bets on Paraguay will be winners and all bets on Spain will be losers. If the match is drawn all stakes will be returned to the customer.

6.3 HALF BALL HANDICAPS (e.g. (-0.5), (-1.5), (-2.5))

6.3.1

The handicap is applied to the final result of the match and the team with the most goals after the handicap has been applied will be the winner.

6.3.2

For example: Liverpool (-1.5), Arsenal (+1.5). If Liverpool win by two or more goals then all bets on Liverpool will be winners and bets on Arsenal will be losers. If Liverpool win by exactly one goal, the match ends in a draw or Arsenal win the match then all bets on Arsenal will be winners and bets on Liverpool will be losers.
Split Ball Handicaps (e.g. (-0, -0.5), (-0.5, -1), (-1, -1.5)).

6.3.3

A split ball handicap is where the level of favouritism is between a half ball and a whole ball. In this case, the Customer’s stake is being split equally between the whole ball and half ball handicaps.

6.3.4

For example: England (-1, -1.5), Germany (1, 1.5). If the Customer places a £100 bet on England (-1, -1.5) then the Customer’s bet is split into two £50 bets. The first bet is on the Whole Ball Handicap (England (-1)) and the second bet is on the Half Ball Handicap (England (-1.5)). If England win by two or more goals then all bets on England will be winners and bets on Germany will be losers. If England win by exactly one goal then the stake on England (-1) will be refunded and the stake on England (-1.5) will be a loser. The stake on Germany (1) will be refunded and the stake on Germany (1.5) will be a winner. If the match ends in a draw or Germany win the match then all bets on Germany will be winners and bets on England will be losers.

6.3.5

Stakes being returned will show as being voided in the customer’s account.

6.4 IN-RUNNING ASIAN HANDICAPS

6.4.1

All bets on the Asian Handicap in-running market are settled according to the score line for the remainder of the game after the bet has been struck

6.4.2

For example, any goals prior to the bet being placed are ignored for settlement purposes. Asian Handicaps will only apply for 90 minutes match betting.

7. CARD MARKETS

7.1 GENERAL

7.1.1

Every effort will be made to quote prices for all participants, however other players will count as winners should they be carded. Please note any player who takes no active part will be settled as void.

7.1.2

When more than one player is involved in an incident that results in more than one card being shown Heart Bingo will result based on TV evidence as to who the referee has shown the first card to.

7.1.3

Only cards shown to players currently on the pitch will count. Cards shown to managers or substitutes do not count towards the total.

7.2 FIRST CARDED PLAYER

Bets on players taking no part in the match will be void, as will first card bets where the selection comes on after the first card has been awarded. If the selection plays for any length of time but is substituted before the first card is awarded, the bet stands.

7.3 ANYTIME CARDED PLAYER

7.3.1

All players who take part in a match for any length of time, will be considered runners for anytime card purposes.

7.3.2

Any card shown after the full-time whistle has been blown shall be disregarded. If after the final whistle a card shown during a game is rescinded, or reduced to a yellow card from a red card, that will not affect the settlement of any markets.

7.3.3

Any subsequent corrections or amendments to the result by official bodies may be taken into consideration at Heart Bingo's discretion for settlement purposes subject to the provisions of Section 1.1.1.

7.3.4

For markets involving the time of yellow and red cards, these markets will be settled by reference to the time at which the relevant card is shown. For settlement purposes, the decision of Heart Bingo's official data providers will be final

7.3.5

If a player receives two (02) yellow cards and is consequently shown a red card, the player will be deemed as having received a total of two (02) cards. No individual player will be able to receive a total number of cards exceeding two (02) in any one game. Extra-time does not count nor do cards shown after the final whistle count towards the total. A straight red card is counted as one card in every circumstance.

7.3.6

When more than one player is involved in an incident that results in more than one card being shown Heart Bingo will result based on TV evidence as to who the referee has shown the first card to.

7.4 BOTH TO BE CARDED

If either player takes no active part in the game then bets will be voided.

8. MINUTE TO WIN IT

8.1 GENERAL

8.1.1

These markets offer the customer the chance to bet on specified events occurring in a match within the stated minute (the stated minute being the minute displayed on the Minute to Win It coupon from time to time).

8.1.2

In order to win, the customer must correctly select whether there will be goal, corner, throw in, free-kick or goal kick within the stated minute.

8.1.3

Heart Bingo's live in-play scoreboard clock is not used for settlement purposes, it is provided to the Customer only for guidance and may vary from all or any official clocks or other clocks provided, displayed, offered or in any way communicated by broadcasters, data providers and other parties.

8.2.1

8.3 ADDITIONAL TIME (INJURY TIME) AND EXTRA TIME

8.3.1

8.3.2

Then “Minute To Win It” may be offered at Heart Bingo's sole discretion and where offered it will be done so on the basis of two (02) halves of fifteen (15) minutes each.

8.3.3

It will not be offered on any injury time minutes within an extra time period.

8.3.4

In all cases, the settlement rules within extra time are identical to those in normal time.

8.4 OCCURRENCE AND AWARDING RULES

8.4.1

For the purposes of this market, the time of a goal is when it occurs as reported by Heart Bingo's data provider.

8.4.2

Corners, free-kicks, throw-ins and goal kicks are considered to have happened when they are awarded by the referee as reported by Heart Bingo’s data provider.

8.4.3

A penalty is not considered to be a free kick and will be resulted as such.

8.4.4

A corner is a particular type of free kick and as such will only cause the Corner selection to be settled as a winner, not the free kick.

8.4.5

An Own Goal will be counted as a Goal in the Minute to Win it market.

8.4.6

A Goal Kick is awarded when the whole of the ball has crossed the entire width of the goal line, is not counted as a goal and was last touched by a member of the attacking team and is timed according to when it was indicated by the referee and/or assistant referees. A Goal Kick restarts the match immediately after the ball has gone out of play. A kick out from the hands of the goalkeeper is not a goal-kick.

8.5.1

The “Minute to Win It” clock will continue to run regardless of any interruptions in play including, but not limited to stoppages for injury or other interruptions to play.

9.3

For the “Time of the first booking market”, the time that the player is shown the card will count.

9.4

As soon as a game kicks off, it will be considered to be in the first minute: For example, a goal scored after twenty-five (25) minutes and forty-two (42) seconds will be settled as scored in the 26th minute.

9.5

An own goal will count for time of first or last team goal.

9.6

If a match is abandoned before the first goal is scored, first corner is taken, first booking etc. then all bets accepted for time bands that have completed will be considered losing bets and any other time band which includes the time band of the abandonment will be void.

9.7

In the event of a dispute, the decision of Heart Bingo’s data provider will be final as detailed in Section 1.1.1. Note that live updates including current score, total bookings and total corners on betting in-running markets are for information only. Whilst Heart Bingo will make every effort to ensure this information is correct, it is the Customer’s responsibility to check that any facts on which bets are struck are accurate. For all bets containing such phrases, any remaining selections in the bet will be settled on the ninety (90) minute result unless stated otherwise.

12.8

Minute one (01) is defined as 0.00-0.59 and this format extends to all minutes in a match. For example, if a bet description involves a player ‘to score in the first 15 minutes’ the cut off time would be 14.59 on the match clock.

12.9

If any part of the bet is made void, then the whole bet becomes void.

12.10

Own goals do not count in any bet involving goalscorers/player goals (unless otherwise explicitly stated).

12.11

19. Player Performance Definitions

19.1. Assists

The final touch (pass, pass-cum-shot or any other touch) leading to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal. If the final touch (as defined in bold) is deflected by an opposition player, the initiator is only given a goal assist if the receiving player was likely to receive the ball without the deflection having taken place. Own goals, directly taken free kicks, direct corner goals and penalties do not get an assist awarded.

19.2. Crosses

Any intentional played ball from a wide position intending to reach a team mate in a specific area in front of the goal.

19.3. Goal/Own Goal

Different governing bodies have different rules, and where possible Opta works with the relevant people to reflect their official decisions on goal scorers. Regarding deflections, normally a goal is awarded if the original attempt is on target. An own goal is usually awarded if the attempt is off target and deflected into the goal by an opponent.

19.4 Offside

Awarded to the player deemed to be in an offside position where a free kick is awarded. If two or more players are in an offside position when the pass is played, the player considered to be most active and trying to play the ball is given offside.

19.5 Passes

Any intentional played ball from one player to another. Passes include open play passes, goal kicks, corners and free kicks played as pass – but exclude crosses, keeper throws and throw-ins.

19.6 Shot

A shot is defined as any goal attempt.

19.7. Shot on target

A shot on target is defined as any goal attempt that: a) Goes into the net regardless of intent or b) Is a clear attempt to score that would have gone into the net but for being saved by the goalkeeper or is stopped by a player who is the last-man with the goalkeeper having no chance of preventing the goal (last line block). Shots directly hitting the frame of the goal are not counted as shots on target, unless the ball goes in and is awarded as a goal. Shots blocked by another player, who is not the last-man, are not counted as shots on target.

19.8 Tackle

A tackle is defined as where a player connects with the ball in a ground challenge where he successfully takes the ball away from the player in possession. The tackled player must clearly be in possession of the ball before the tackle is made. A tackle won is deemed to be where the tackler or one of his team-mates regains possession as a result of the challenge, or that the ball goes out of play and is “safe”. A tackle lost is where a tackle is made but the ball goes to an opposition player. Both are deemed as successful tackles however, the outcome of the tackle (won or lost) is different based on where the ball goes after the tackle. It is not a tackle, when a player cuts out a pass by any means.

In instances where we have a VAR review, the time of goal will be deemed to be the time we were first notified of the goal by Heart Bingo’s data provider, not the time the goal was awarded by the VAR.

All bets relate to the 90 min market, unless otherwise stated explicitly in the bet description EG: ‘’to score in the first half’’.

If any part of the bet is made void, then the whole bet becomes void.

Any bets involving corners; only corners that are actually taken will count.

We reserve the right to cancel any bets placed at a price that is clearly wrong.

We reserve the right to cancel any bets placed on that selection where the wording of the bet description is wrong.

The market “Team to score first across a specified number of events” will be settled via the official match clock at the time of first goal scored. For example, Team A scores after 10 minutes in a 2pm event, then Team B scores after 5 minutes in a 5pm event, Team B is deemed the winner.

For markets related to “Event with most goals” “Event with most corners” “Team with most goals” “Team with most corners” dead heat rules will apply in the result of any ties.

For any eventualities not covered by these rules, Heart Bingo’s standard betting rules will apply.

22. Player Performance

This market offers the customer the chance to bet on the total points accumulated by a player during a match by completing any of the following

Player Starts = 1pt

Plays a minimum of 60 Minutes = 1pt

Defender Clean Sheet = 4pts

Midfielder Clean Sheet = 1pt

Defender Goal = 6pts

Midfielder Goal = 5pts

Forward Goal = 4pts

Assist = 3pts

Shot on Target = 1pt

Own Goal = -2pts

Concede Penalty = -2pts

Penalty Miss = -2pts

Yellow = -1pt

Red = -3pts

For every 2 Goals a Defender Concedes = -1pt

For example, If Robert Lewandowski (F) scores the only goal with his only shot on target in a 1-0 Barcelona win, he would accumulate 7pts (Player Starts 1pt + Plays a minimum of 60 Minutes 1pt + Forward Goal 4pts + Shot on Target 1pt = 7pts) for the match.
