Why is my max stake amount £5 or £2 on Slots?
In accordance with the latest Gambling Commission regulations for UK players, a new £5 Max bet limit has been introduced for players aged 25 and over, meaning that £5 is the maximum amount these players can wager per spin.
Although this rule officially comes into effect on 9 April 2025, BetVictor has implemented these limits ahead of schedule to ensure a seamless transition and allow players time to adjust before the regulatory deadline.
In line with these regulatory changes, a new £2 Max bet limit on slots will apply to players aged 18-24. This rule comes into effect on 21 May 2025, meaning all players within this age group will be limited to a maximum stake of £2 per spin.
Player Age | Maximum Stake per Spin | Effective Date |
25 and over | £5 | 9 April 2025 |
18-24 | £2 | 21 May 2025 |
